Do you have what it takes?

Well, as is tradition for the Kentucky Derby, there is a fantasy horse racing league.

This experience is much like any other fantasy team - like football, baseball and all of the other sports. You get to pick the horses to have in your barn from a list of every single horse that is nominated for the Kentucky Derby on May 5. Then, you can pick two trainers and two jockeys.

After completing all of this, you join a league, based on your skill or whether your friends are already in a league of their own. You can only pick ten horses to be on your roster, and five of them have to be activated for the races over the weekend. Your points come from the races won or placed in by your horses, trainers, and jockeys based on the way that they race for their races.

The concept is not at all different from Fantasy Football or Baseball. I have joined in my own league with people from all over the world that are either avid fans of the sport or work in the sport itself. This can also be an experience for beginners to the sport, as there are several tips offered on this page.
